What do we analyse?
On the basis of our analyses and advice you will find out, for example:
- Whether the composition of the supplied product actually corresponds to the specifications given by the manufacturer
- That there are no allergens in cosmetics or other products - important to protect users from allergic reactions

How do we check the labelling and content?
- Composition check (are the ingredients listed on the label actually present in the product?)
- Sensory check through washing tests (e.g., panel assesses the smell and feel of test wipes washed according to the instructions on the packaging)
- Check on standard qualities of the product (density, pH, drying residue, …)
- Control of labelling according to legal standards (are all ingredients correctly mentioned on the label?)
The effect of washing tests
Besides checking the labelling, we also carry out washing tests. For this, ECCA puts together a test panel with experts from different departments. They test how your product is perceived by the various senses. With this information you can make targeted improvements.
